QUESTION: Drop Boxes Strapping

Hi there-

 

Another day, another question...

 

What is the width of the strap that your drop boxes hang on?  I'm guessing it's either 1 inch, or a half inch.  Just curious what the forum thinks.

The CRL doesn't seem to specify the width of the strap, but I'd go for half an inch. That's what I did. You really shouldn't be able to see most of those straps anyway.

drop boxes should be mounted so that the box is right up against the belt.

in the film they were looped over the canvas and riveted to the backing dropbox.

I use inch white elastic, it's prob meant to be 3/4 though..
