Marqu Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 Hi there, I have some problems with fitting my armor. I think the major problem is: "I´m tall (186 cm or 6"1")" So I´m unable to get a good overlap of the chest plate. How can I change the strapping that the chest plate comes down? Thanks for your help. gazmosis[501st] Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 The adjustment needs to be done at your shoulders. Reposition the white straps that connect your back and chest. If you attach it closer to the shoulder bridges, it will allow the chest to fall a bit lower. Then I would replace the elastic you have connecting the chest and ab with shorter pieces of nylon webbing (strap). this will not allow movement of the chest upward. Quote
HockeyTrooper[TK] Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 As Mr. Gazmosis said, adjusting the length of the white straps that come over your shoulders will do the trick. His recommendation on the chest to ab connection would be good to consider as well. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 As said before the chest plate at your shoulders looks too high, also the elastic from the chest to ab looks really loose, tighten that and you should be fine Quote
SCTrooper[TK] Posted October 1, 2013 Report Posted October 1, 2013 As said plus, get stronger elastic or double up the ones you have on the chest and ab connection. I had the same problem, very little overlap of the chest and ab. There is an elastic that is woven both directions so it won't be so stretchy. The fabric stores over here have it. Also connect the biceps to the forearms, this will improve the look. Almost there! Quote
DizzyStormtrooper[501st] Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 And replace the elastic with webbing so it won't move Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted October 2, 2013 Report Posted October 2, 2013 Webbing shouldn't be used in some areas as it does not allow for movement Quote
