E6000, White or Clear?

Does it matter which version of E6000 to use for a build?  Is their a preference for White or Clear?  I purchased white but seeing if folks have a preference.

I have always used clear...just has many more uses since it's not color specific.

I've only seen and used clear myself.  It can have other uses besides your armor, and you may not want it to be visible in certain areas.  Why not try both.
