Thanks Walt! No need to send any lens material. I think I'll be good. :)

 

I've been using the classic Humbrol paints. You just have to take your time with it and apply a few coats over several days. Smooth plastic isn't the easiest material to paint on by any stretch. I'm more of an acrylic on wood type of guy so this teaches me patience. I guess you could call it the zen of TK building. LOL

Finally got around to finish painting the bucket. I wish I could devote more time to this.  :) Anyways, here I've masked the back to freehand the vents on the rear traps:

You can see the FX-kids lid looks most egregious in the side view--although the other views aren't that great either. I have full confidence that my son is gonna look a lot better in his upgraded kit. Now on to the chest, back and arms....

This is so cool....  My son will be two in 31 days.

 

I hope that one day he just begs and begs and begs for his own TK armor.
