Rarekwast Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 Hi Guys, I've a question, can someone help me out padding my forearms (skinny forearms I have), saw that there was also a topic of it in 2008 but the pictures are away and/but maybe in the years theres a new way to padding forearms.. so please, anyone? Thanks! Quote
kecro Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 I can tell you what i did, First i tried 1 inch 1/2 thick pad velcro in but it kept coming off the velcro so i just went with a thicker pad about the length of my forearm and havn't had a problem since. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 I just used some 1/2 inch yellow soft foam, used a contact adhesive to hold it in place Quote
Rarekwast Posted August 19, 2013 Author Report Posted August 19, 2013 Thx guys! I will try that! Quote
Laspector[TK] Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 Go look in the insulation area of a hardware store or Walmart. They have these rolls of foam that is about 1" wide and has it's own adhesive strip on one side. Just cut it to whatever length you need and apply. That's what I have been using for years. Quote
longboard8 Posted August 20, 2013 Report Posted August 20, 2013 (edited) Barbells. 20, 25, 30. Go look at Arnold's body building book at the bookstore. No need to buy it. And say Arnold in your head pronounced Ahnald 10x. Ahnald! Edited August 20, 2013 by longboard8 Quote
Voodoo Warrior in Florida Posted September 13, 2013 Report Posted September 13, 2013 I'd like to chime in on this conversation...I too have skinny forearms. Instead of adding foam to the actual armor, I use sweat wrist bands. I bought a pair of at "them Sports Authority" and the work very well!!. They also help in preventing armor bites. The sweat wrist bands need to be worn under the black compression shirt of course. I hope this helps out. Quote
