Tolo[TK] Posted August 13, 2013 Report Posted August 13, 2013 Hello Troops, When I purchase my armor from my friend, he had cut the cod piece from the ab plate. Today I decided to glue them back together. I used a piece of HIPS and E-6000 to glue them back. My question is very simple; What is the success rate of this modification? Anybody had problems with the pieces un-glueing? Thanks, Eric Quote
SubSkip[TK] Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 Why do you want them glued back together? Quote
bjsavage7[TK] Posted August 14, 2013 Report Posted August 14, 2013 It should be just like gluing together the rest of the armor. If you've got the pieces right where you need them and never need to unglue them, use some CA glue to secure them. Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) Why do you want them glued back together? I've notice that when I put my armor on , my cod piece has a tendency of going towards the rear because of my webbing going from my cod piece to my butt piece. I tried using a longer elastic, but, it's still looks worst. Edited August 14, 2013 by Tolo Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted August 14, 2013 Author Report Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) And that's the end results. (I know it's dirty, but, I just received my Novus today, so I'm cleaning it now lol) Edited November 13, 2020 by Sly11 Edited to restore the image by Sly11, 2020 Quote
