Dennis[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Yo!I thought it would be funny if the Nordic Garrison members dressed up as vikings during Celebration you know... because we call our presence "Nordic Invasion" and that we put viking horns on our logo snowtrooper For this costume I have to use some of my ordinary TK armor parts, chest, shoulders, back, lower legs and I think I'm gonna use the shoes too!Underneath this I'm gonna use a tunic that I made myself like 8 years ago, it was for a medieval camp I attended to, and it works great if I want to be a Pirate too Anyway.... this is the basis, and I will ad some fluffy things that looks like animal stuff I had a hat that I havent used for like 6 years... so that was a great source stay tuned for pics Quote
Dennis[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Posted July 12, 2013 these are the parts that I will mostly use: Fluffy things I will use this to put on my shoulder: and there was a little extra... so I used it on my wrist Quote
Dennis[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Posted July 12, 2013 This is how it would look like without helmet or weapon... I dont know if I should bring my axe or my sword... if I go with the sword I might do a Viking Shield to have on my back perhaps... but who knows... what do you guys think? Quote
Minuteman Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 Where is my mead ?! You will not be overseen at CE II with this outfit. Pretty excited to see the horns at your helmet. The sword would be cool, but do you think you will be able to enter the convetion with a full metall weapon (regarding safety aspects)? Quote
Dennis[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Posted July 12, 2013 The sword would be cool, but do you think you will be able to enter the convetion with a full metall weapon (regarding safety aspects)? hmmm good question... well... I think that rule are just regarding fire arms that look realistic... not a unsharp axe Quote
Dennis[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Author Report Posted July 12, 2013 this is from the Official Celebration website "Naturally, working firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns, and pellet guns) are not allowed at all within Star Wars Celebration, and the following items are also forbidden: Metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatchets, knives, kunai, shuriken, swords, sword canes, and switch blades)" So I guess no metal blades Quote
Smiling Fox[TK] Posted July 12, 2013 Report Posted July 12, 2013 No worries about the blade, just add some fur and leather to your E-11. Viking style! Quote
