I'm sure others will have more to say (Glen?) but I would suggest trying to get your back plate and kidney a little closer. The gap seems a little big to me. The top ridge of your sniper knee doesn't look like its glued down. Others may correct me but the return edge on the bottom of your chest looks a little big to my eyes. Can your thighs come up a little bit? It looks like the thigh pack interferes with your shin. Same with the sniper knee. If your thighs can't come up more because of the cod I suggest raising the ab/cod to accomodate.

Boy do the NE shoulder bells look big!

Again.... great job on the strapping system.

thanks for checking out my submission

Everything you mention Eric can definitely be adjusted/improved

Back plate and kidney closer together - yes - not sure if that is my bad posture or not creating that space in the that photo - I'll make necessary adjustments and post a new photo

top ridge of sniper knee plate - I have to check - if that's the case a clamp and dab of glue will fix

return edge of bottom of chest plate - I'd like to hear input from others on that one. I would keep it....or I can also slice a little off if it really has to be done

thighs too low - I can raise them..

I can get on these fixes tonight or tomorrow depending on work schedule.

Here are my photos of corrections

Back/kidney closer - corrected with smaller connecting straps  ALSO notice more space between shin and thigh

Top ridge of sniper knee plate was not flush (only on one side - the other side was fine) - now it is - corrected with glue and clamp

Thighs raised by adjusting garter and trimming back of thigh return edge that was stopping my thigh from going higher - now we are good

Hi Anthony,

I've watched your centurion application come in, and I've watched you make some recommended tweaks and changes.

It's nice to see an NE armour appear on the centurion application thread.

Again this is a first.

Both the EIB and Centurion awards have a visual appeal aspect that needs to be considered in order to be given the grade.

This visual appeal is something that can never be accurately described in the CRL.

It is possible for an application to hit all the CRL check boxes but still fail on its visual appeal.

I am quite a stickler for armour to be form fitted for the wearer.

I have reviewed your armour a number of times and am happy to grant you the centurion award.

There are two improvements that you could make (not easily) to make this armour appear better.

These are to taper in the bottoms of your thighs.

And to taper in the bottom of your biceps.

In your case, these will not affect your award.

Whilst your NE shoulder bells are a touch large, they do have a nicer shape than the AM predecessor and do not spoil your look.

I wish to warn any NE armour applicants that follow on to ensure that they form fit their armour to suit their body frames and that you will be judged on how the armour fits you.

Congratulations Centurion.

Thank you so much!

I will definitely look into the the improvements you mention as far as the bottom of the biceps and thighs.

Thanks again!!
