Geaux Saints[TK] Posted June 1, 2013 Author Report Posted June 1, 2013 About time! great build! I know, right? Thanks, Christian! Quote
vecspeed12 Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 That suit looks really good on you. Amazing work. Quote
troopermaster Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Really nice work, Tony. Well done on a fantastic build I am sure you won't have any problems getting your award. My only nit pick that stands out is your holster rivet placement. It looks like you have copied the RS belt which, although original, is unique to one trooper in ANH so really your holster rivets should be at the lower edge of your belt instead of the middle. I doubt it will have any affect on your application but just thought I would mention it. Good luck! Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 I agree with Paul about the holster placement. You can clearly see the common placement on both trooper on the left and the right on this pic: A part from that this is a really great looking armor ! Good luck on your aproval !! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Indeed those holster rivets are way too far up. But you also have to get EIB before I can process centurion. Not that it should be a problem for you. Change the holster rivet positions and you could be done with both awards by tomorrow. Quote
SW1 Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Absolutey SICK , Tony the only thing i noticed apart from what he Paul mentions , is just move your thighs out more on your belt so they dont get trapped under the cod would be a nightmare when trooping top class build and aplication Quote
Minuteman Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Tony, following your build thread was a real pleasure! And your armor looks awesome Quote

I doubt it will have any affect on your application but just thought I would mention it. Good luck! Thanks, Paul! I'm not sure what I was thinking when I placed the rivets on the belt when I did, but I left it that way because I was afraid of what the rivets might leave behind if I removed them. Indeed those holster rivets are way too far up. But you also have to get EIB before I can process centurion. Not that it should be a problem for you. Change the holster rivet positions and you could be done with both awards by tomorrow. I wasn't aware you had to get EIB first. I assumed that going for Centurion would automatically incorporate the EIB status as well. I also didn't think the rivet position would affect the awards, but I'll do what I have to do. Absolutey SICK , Tony the only thing i noticed apart from what he Paul mentions , is just move your thighs out more on your belt so they dont get trapped under the cod would be a nightmare when trooping top class build and aplication Yes, those thighs do like to sneak inwards sometimes. I still have a few tweaks and trims to make. Like it's been said before on this forum...you never stop making adjustments and tweaks with your armor. Tony, following your build thread was a real pleasure! And your armor looks awesome Thank you, Steffen. I loved to document a lot with pictures because that is the best way I can understand something especially if I'm building something. If it helped just one person to understand their build a little better then I am happy. Trooper helping Troopers. Thanks Germain and Joey! Quote
Geaux Saints[TK] Posted June 8, 2013 Author Report Posted June 8, 2013 Great looking armor. Thanks, VG! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 21, 2013 Report Posted June 21, 2013 How's the change on the belt going? You're so close it would be silly not fix it. Quote
Geaux Saints[TK] Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 Well, I haven't have a lot of time lately with work and my son playing baseball. It took me this long to finally get around to applying. I was told in my build thread that the holster rivets wouldn't affect my status, but it would be preferable, so that's why I didn't push to correct that quickly. I'll hopefully get it done soon. I don't want to get this close and not get it. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Sounds good! I also just noticed that you don't have EIB yet, so make sure that you apply for that first. The reason I insist you fix the holster rivets could be likened with "The CRL doesn't say I can't wear my biceps upside down". It might not be in the CRL, but it's not right and we both know it. Centurion is an "idealised" screen accurate award, and the overall look, disregarding any screw ups in the costume department is what we're going for. Quote
Geaux Saints[TK] Posted June 22, 2013 Author Report Posted June 22, 2013 Would I need to submit a new thread in the EIB section with new pics or can I use/reference these? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Would I need to submit a new thread in the EIB section with new pics or can I use/reference these? You can copy this application. While I'm not approving the holster rivets as is for centurion, your application is miles above EIB. This will just be formality because EIB is required before centurion can be awarded. Quote

Geaux Saints[TK] Posted June 27, 2013 Author Report Posted June 27, 2013 EIB Status has been applied for....http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24333-tk-12757-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-tm/ Rivet positions have been adjusted for Centurion status. Not terribly happy about the "damage" left from the previous rivet positions, but it's not too bad. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I'm not the DO anymore so Phil will have to approve you, but I barely see the damage from the rivets. Sure the image is a little blurred, but I wouldn't worry about it anyway. I've had larger holes in my belt than yours that still weren't visible. And if you'd like I can point you to an on-screen trooper with holes in his belt from a moved holster. Nice work! Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 I love it to see another TM gear....really good work and good luck with your approval Quote

I had to scrub on the belt a little because the rivets left black circles that were REALLY noticeable. Should I do anything (or is there anything I can do) to the holes to protect the belt or should the holes not present a problem? Quote
