The Imperial Quartermaster of course! But for those of you not in a galaxy far, far away, try these sources:

E-Bay

1. Search on www.ebay.com for "stormtrooper armor"

2. Be careful of poor quality home-made armor.

3. Look for good definition and sharp detail on the various pieces.

4. Most kits come pre-assembed and ready to wear.

Hey there, on the brow and necktrim sites, I need some help. Any advice on part #'s when I get to the sites? Not really sure what to buy, I am looking for the sticky FX/GT trim that is puffy, black and shiny with adhesive and the bottom helmet trim to cover the plastic. MTFBWY!

there seems to be a whole lot of links to dead sites that no longer exist or sites that have changed to doing other things and have no reference to trooper things <_<

ok sice this is a thread on where to get stuff, where can i get thermal detonator parts and helmets, don't say ebay i tried lol :)

This is a resource list, not a want to buy section. WTB helmets and armor requests are not allowed under the forum rules. If you need a detonator please start a thread in the sale section.

Read, read, read, and read some more. Everything about getting a costume together is answered many times over.

YES! Do not be in a hurry to get a suit. Read, read, read and ask questions. Join your local garrison. Attend an event as a squire so you can see suits up close and personal. Then make an informed decision about what you want. Don't get suckered into paying $1,000 on ebay for something that is of poor quality.

I lurked here and Garison Carida's website for months before I became a member. Now I've been a member for a few months, I have just finally placed an order for my suit. Anxiously awaiting delivery!

The worst thing you can do is get in a hurry. Impatience and money is a bad combination. I have been on here for the past two months and I have still not decided on where to get my TK armor. There are choices, but you have to find what will work for you. ;)

anyone want to take that on?

maybe even (with their permission) have Forum suppliers (members or 501st and non members) be added to what ever section they belong to.

Just an idea felt like throwing out there.

We'll be taking a look at this as part of the program to make this site easier for new members to use, in addition to making some other organizational content-related changes in that regard. Thanks for bringing this up!

Hi mates. Hope you`ve had a great holidays. I got my ANH stormtrooper armor and need to adjust the pieces. At youtube i can only find "how to build" tutorials, no adjust videos. Maby its so easy that no one made a video a bout it.. But i have a low income profession, and im terrified of cutting the armor! If i ruin a piece i have to save for a really long time to try again. My questions are among other: Tools, how to cut, measurement.
Ok, thanks guys.

Erik.
