Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Fun to see a tall trooper in ATA. Nicely done dude. -Eric Quote
FunkyTrigger[TK] Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 I've spotted a few painting issues for consideration. 1. Your helmet grey frown. There is no paint after the 4th tooth onto where the 5th tooth would be. Therefore the helmet appears as a hero Helmet. 2. The AB plate buttons appear to be the old dark midnight blue rather than the helmet tube stripes French blue. As initially mentioned, these points are merely raised for consideration / discussion. Both valid points, and both easy fixes. Quote
Ravenwood[TK] Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 excellent built there, one thing I would recommend to do is raise your belt to just under the ab button plate. I use snaps to hold mine in place. Quote
TK Keith[TK] Posted April 29, 2013 Report Posted April 29, 2013 Hi Trooper- nice job on your ATA build! I wanted to pass on a piece of advice that I received on my ATA EIB build, and that was to decrease the size of your forearms so they aren't as big/ loose on your body. I was really pleased with how it turned out when I made this adjustment, and I think it could look good on your build too. Again, nice job and good look on earning your EIB! Quote
Grishnock Posted May 1, 2013 Author Report Posted May 1, 2013 I picked up the paint will post the pics of the helm and ab buttons. Quote
Grishnock Posted May 7, 2013 Author Report Posted May 7, 2013 Paint job is done just finished, hope it helps! Quote
Grishnock Posted May 20, 2013 Author Report Posted May 20, 2013 Raised the belt higher and have it in place, forgive the marks just took this after being in it for a whole day at a convention. Quote
FunkyTrigger[TK] Posted May 24, 2013 Report Posted May 24, 2013 Your belt still looks low in that pic. The top of the belt should literally be right level with the lower AB buttons. Quote
Sakic Jade Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 The belt was an issue for me too. I finally just put snaps on either side of my ab to hold it up. Good luck! I just updated my approval post as well, another tall ATA here too! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted June 21, 2013 Report Posted June 21, 2013 The missing ear stripe from the helmet pictures, that appears on the full body pictures leaves me quite confused as to whether you have it or not. But you should have it on the last bump if you haven't added it already. And as mentioned, your belt is still sitting too low on the ab, but I take it that because of your cut cod that there is nothing you can do to correct that any more. But for the intents and purposes of EIB, you are approved! You will however also have to post an action photo for our EIB page. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper Quote

I actually did the paint job for the ear bump after the initial pictures were taken, I was looking into getting it ready for centurion. Im reworking straps to raise the cod piece up to fix the belt problem. I should have it fixed before I try for centurion. Thanks for the approval man! I'll throw the armor on and take a pic for ya on one of my upcoming days off. Edited June 26, 2013 by Grishnock Quote
