Moving from PR to PA

Greetings everyone, I'll be moving to Pennsylvania in just a couple of days and I am wondering if any of you knew how to transfer from the Puerto Rico Garrison to Garrison Carida (which I think it's PA's garrison)?

Hey Juan, your current CO and your new CO will need to be informed of your transfer request.  They'll need to work together to get you switched over into your new garrison.  I'm not sure about Garrison Carida's policy on transfers.  But in my garrison, the person requesting to be transferred in must troop one of our events before the transfer request can be fully accepted.  Best of luck with your move!!!

I was able to go ahead and transfer to Carida when I moved from the Mountain Garrison to Garrison Carida back in March of 2008. Of course I was trooping within a few weeks of my move but I don't recall having been told I had to troop before the transfer will be done.
