Locitus[Admin] Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Looks good so far, but I'd like you to upload larger images. Call me lazy, but I'm not going to click every thumbnail in order to review you. Quote
HockeyTrooper[TK] Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Dang, I was hoping to see an April Fools EIB upload of a Rubies. Good looking suit there though! Quote
CoolCat74[TK] Posted April 1, 2013 Author Report Posted April 1, 2013 Ok, thought of people who don't have a high bandwith. Here again the photos reduced to 1280x960. Ravenwood[TK] Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) Looks great, the only thing I see is the shoulder bells need to come in tighter to the shoulder straps. I had the same issue with mine, but its an easy fix. Fits you really well considering you are 6'10" I am guessing you meant to type 5"10" Edited April 1, 2013 by Ravenwood Quote
CoolCat74[TK] Posted April 1, 2013 Author Report Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) @Ravenwood: Sorry, I am 1,86 meters which is 6.1 feet. Just had an "0" too much. It's now corrected. Edited April 1, 2013 by CoolCat74 Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 The confusing thing about imperial measures is that 6.10 feet is not the same as 6 feet, 10 inches. Jeremy has a point with the shoulder bells, but it's not a big deal compared to what many others look like. It's an easy fix though. If you just get some rubber gloves and latex hand guards from Karin and get split rivets for the ab, you should be ready for centurion. As for the resolution, this is much better! While I can only speak for myself, but I don't think I ever use a computer that is connected to the internet with less than 100Mbit downlink. Approved! Quote
HeloTrooper Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Congrats! Welcome to the ranks! I have to say, I was a bit intimidated at the thought of a 6 ft 10 inch trooper... Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks Quote
CoolCat74[TK] Posted April 2, 2013 Author Report Posted April 2, 2013 Thank you very much all of you. Quote
ObiHahn[TK] Posted April 2, 2013 Report Posted April 2, 2013 Congratulations, Thomas. I see you are still wearing it very well! About the shoulders: Tom is a very tall guy with very broad, "heroic" shoulders. There's 2 options for strapping them. The 1st is how he wears them now, with a little give in the black strap on the bells so the snaps will not come off and the white elastic under the shoulders will never be pulled out, it remains invisible. The 2nd option would be to shorten the black straps, but risk the snaps coming loose once in a while, as well as occasionaly pulling out the white shoulder elastic. The shoulders on a couple movie troopers were like Tom wears them here - that should always be the reference. Quote
