Here are the comments from my advisor -  all other comments are welcomed.

1.  trim and/or place the thighs so they don't contact the cod or butt piece

2.  trim the extra pieces off the sides of the chest

3.  reduce the return on the back piece so it matches the return on the chest

4.  bring the chest piece down by loosening the connection of the shoulder straps to the back piece

5.  adjust the butt piece so it doesn't stick out

6.  bring the stomach in so it doesn't stick out so much

I've been having issues with the thighs and the butt piece - I'm going to try to replace the elastic that came with the kit with a better elastic.  Both the thighs and the butt look fine - until I move

1. Thighs look good to me - not sure what he means?

5. I used strategically placed foam on my butt piece and back plate to get it to look straight. Took about 4 tries to get it right. The back/kidney/butt should be nicely aligned, and you may have to space out the back plate a bit took to get it to look right.

7. You also need to obscure the underarmor(?) tag on the back of your neck.

Belt could come up a bit, you also need to do something with the huge gap between your biceps and forearms, bring the biceps down and push the forearms up, elastic between these help keep them in place. Overall a very nice build, just a few mods and you're down :D

I plan to make a few more adjustments tonight and take submission pictures. I'll be adding a garter system for the thighs - 3 inch elactic and a heavy duty black belt from the army/navy store. As I was looking at pictures of centurian submissions, I noticed that the ab plate and the kidney plate are not connected on the sides. As you can see, I have mine overlapped and velcroed together. I'm just looking for confirmation that this needs to be corrected as no one has mentioned it.

Um...I think you might be wearing the forearms on the wrong arms. The way these forearms are constructed, there is a finishing strip ridge on the top portion of both forearms molded into the plastic and no ridge on the bottom. These ridges are not straight and the left one is actually curved outward.....like I have circled. DSC_48081_zps103b85d0.jpg

You might not have to (depends on your GML) but you should. You have way too much flashing and return around your whole torso that you should trim off. NE might say it's pre-trimmed, but that's only half of it.

but if I just swap arms and rotate them - wouldn't that make the edge curve inward?

Thanks, I was planning to correct the top part tonight.  It should be an easy fix.

A couple of mods then you should be just about there :D

I'm not quite understanding your question in regards to the inward curve. With the forearms, the way they were originally sculpted, there was left and a right. They were not interchangeable. The finish strip ridge was on the top. I was trying to avoid this......but NE used an RS props suit for the base of their molds. This pic is from the RS propmasters site. It shows the original screen used left forearm next to one they are building. You can see that swoop on the top427490_10150632039149333_2138081423_n2_zHere is a completed RS props set of armor, you can see the same swoop on the top of the left arm.kevinGlassTk012_zps3817ac0a.jpgI hope this helps

That picture clears it up - I can just switch the forearms.  I was misunderstanding - thinking top of the swoop had to point outward - it actually faces inward.  Thanks!!

Hi David,

try making the crotch strap longer, this should keep the butt piece in the right position.  Looks like there is too much tension on the strap.

kevinGlassTk018_zps50e8233b.jpgI didn't see it mentioned before, (if it was MYBAD!!!) but your belt should be trimmed on a prominent angle and the corners not just rounded off.

Thanks for that - I saw a tutorial somewhere to use the TD as the guide to round the corners.  Now that I've checked, it's obvious they need to be cut.  Made a few minor adjustments last night that made major differences.  I'll be posting new pics in a minute.

Comments from my advisor...

1.  Lower cod and or raise thighs to reduce the gap in the crotch

2.  Reduce the return on the lower back so the back piece sits better

3.  Lower the stomach by adjusting the straps that attach to the back

Comments from whitearmor

1.  switch and rotate forearms

2.  trim the belt corners

Getting closer guys - thanks to all for your help.

Sorry for the seemingly endless picture posts - but everytime I post, someone gives me some great feedback.  I've sent the following to my advisor.  I'm actually awaiting his response to see if they're submittal worthy.  (I do just now see the under armor logo on the right side of my pants).

Have you not trimmed the 4-button ab plate? Looks like you just popped it on like a shell.

Just an update... I took the suit for a test run. The straps that came with the suit just weren't doing the job. I bought some better webbing and created my own straps. Tried using the adhesive veclro - but it didn't stick to the webbing for very long. Tried sewing the velcro on, but the adhesive made it impossible. I'll go out this week and buy some non adhesive velcro. Then I should be ready to take the submission pictures - I know, I know - use snaps.  My advisor is suggesting velcro - I'll probably switch to the snaps at some point, but I really want approval first.
