Very helpful. Im going to tackle a much larger boot. I am not happy with the Biker Scout tutorial. I live in a extremly hot climate & the vinyle is starting to come off my work boot. So I bought some extra tall engineer boots to convert into Scout Trooper boots :dancing-trooper:

Please add photos, this is very interesting. I'm also have very hot summer in my area

here the boots pictures after 2 full days of trooping

as told before the paint was lost where the boots and armor shins touch without any protection inside (foam)

Thats looks good. Only palce the paint rubs off is where the armor rubs. This shoud work perfect for my scout boots since there will be no rubbing against the boot anywhere. :dancing-trooper:
