SW1 Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hi Nick just a heads up you might need to fill the holes in your rivits on the ammo strap on the right thigh , esay peasy fix just get some muliput and smoth over job a gooden , somthing ele's i spotted you have no gaffa tape anywere for that really original look Quote
ZeroCooL[TK] Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 lol... ok, shall i get a shot of me hitting my head on the door as i walk through it too! I have milliput on standby if it is required Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Yes, you can't use pop rivets on the knee belt. Or if you must then they need to be filled. But I would prefer if you replaced those with a solid dome kind of rivet (like cap rivets). Quote
SW1 Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Had a brain wave Nick put the gaffa tape over the rivits nobody would know Quote
FunkyTrigger[TK] Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hi Nick, loads of good detail in this app, even more than your EIB app and approval. I like how you've pimped out the inside of your helmet too. Good luck with your application. It looks like its just the thigh ammo pack rivet to ammend to a solid one or fill n paint. Quote
Blandsaft[TK] Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) Like Locitus said, the pop-rivets is on the right leg was the first thing i got hung up on but from that i like it Edited January 25, 2013 by Blandsaft Quote
svache[501st] Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 I like how you've pimped out the inside of your helmet too My thought exactly, I really like it Quote
ZeroCooL[TK] Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) Thanks chaps, my missus is a bag designer, so she made that liner, with padding and sweat dispersing material - it's awesome :-) Going to sort the rivet asap Edited January 25, 2013 by ZeroCooL Quote
Boltstrooper[TK] Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 Nice detail on the on E11. Quote
FunkyTrigger[TK] Posted January 26, 2013 Report Posted January 26, 2013 You may have to change your name from ZeroCool soon to SomeCool Nice fix. Quote

Locitus[Admin] Posted January 27, 2013 Report Posted January 27, 2013 Good luck Nick, hopefully Mathias will still be a little drunk and just clear you. lol Nope, more likely to lash out on some really obscure detail that is not part of the CRL at all. But I won't. I'm nice like that. Quote
niugnep[TK] Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 Did I just miss it, but I'm not seeing two snaps in the butt plate connecting the crotch. But, let me just add... man, the inside of your bucket looks AWESOME! I really want to copy that for my bucket... mine doesn't look nearly as good on the inside. Quote

But, let me just add... man, the inside of your bucket looks AWESOME! I really want to copy that for my bucket... mine doesn't look nearly as good on the inside. You can tell by this picture that there are two snaps. One that is visible, the other is attached to and thus hidden by the elastic. Looking good Nick and I'm glad you fixed the knee belt rivet so quickly. Approved! Quote
niugnep[TK] Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 Ah... That's why you're the DO. Congrats on the Centurion, Nick! Quote
