stratocaster Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hello to everyone! Got SDS ANH (Battle) armour + helmet + blaster, now I'm working on boots and learning to walk quietly )) does any one see any problems on the photos? Will apply to 501 when everything was fine. Looking forward for comments & suggestions! Quote
FunkyTrigger[TK] Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Hi there, a couple of observations are.,, Ear bumps no rank stripe No black surround round ear bumps Holster loops incorrect over belt The thigh ammo pack seems to be incorrectly fixed to the thigh on the inside edge. Are both shins opening up with the same overlap? The overlaps are usually constructed to point towards the insides of your legs. If you were going EIB or centurion then I would also question the width of the cover strips in relation to your height and weight. Quote
Neo Kerberos Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Belt and TD clips must be changed. I have also a SDS, good quality but some modifications must be done to be perfect ^^ Quote
stratocaster Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 Thanks a lot! Will modify to meet the requirements ) currently I have no plans to became Centurion or EIB, but everything can be changed Quote
stratocaster Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 No black surround round ear bumps Please check attached photo of original ANH helmet and my helmet - you mean marked black lines? Quote
Neo Kerberos Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) No, the vertical ones (rank stripe) ^^ But I don't understand the remark about the "round ear bumps" too. Edited January 25, 2013 by Neo Kerberos Quote

stratocaster Posted February 1, 2013 Author Report Posted February 1, 2013 Question about holster - here I don't see any requirements regarding exact placement of holster clips and the color of belt between belt and holster http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt but here I see exact numbers and sizes http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/2469-anhholsterplacement01/ I have plans to make holes and fix holster straps with fasteners, but have confused about possible mistakes Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Follow the numbers in the second link and you will be fine. Quote

TK bondservnt[501st] Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 www.trooperbay.com has an excellent canvas belt. to fix the holster situation all you'll have to do, is cut the back of the loop off and install it with hardware to the canvas belt. Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted February 12, 2013 Report Posted February 12, 2013 You actually should be cutting the front part of the loop off and attach the rear strap to the underside of the canvas belt. Quote
TK1491 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) Nice set, fits you well! I very much enjoyed my sds suit...retired it when I started trooping in a diff set. Can't get it here in the states anymore! Notice that it is slightly less shiny than my gloss abs sds set...is he pulling in PVC or a diff grade of abs these days?
