Quixotic5891 Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Was working on putting the hex nuts in the front of my blaster when my drill caught and chipped a bunch of pieces off. I was able to reattach the pieces but now my hole is all caddywompbus(crooked). I am aiming for centurion will this effect it. I really don't want to do any more drilling after what happened. Quote
Dday[501st] Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Nope, that shouldn't stop you. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 Use a bit of bondo, a sand and you would never know once it's painted Quote
Quixotic5891 Posted January 21, 2013 Author Report Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Ya I used evercoat (which is way better than Bondo) the first time thats what that blue stuff is. Guess I can try again. Edited January 21, 2013 by Quixotic5891 Quote
HockeyTrooper[TK] Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 I was just going to mention using a bondo or filler putty if you wanted, but I don't think it would hinder your submission, so it is up to you! Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 use a variable speed drill and put it on slow Quote
Quixotic5891 Posted January 22, 2013 Author Report Posted January 22, 2013 Thanks for the advice everyone. Quote
Clamps[TK] Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 also you can try JB Weld. its easy to work with and you don;t have to mix up messy bond. Hardens in minutes, and sand-able within an hour or less. Quote
SolderMaster Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 That's just battle damage!! So your blaster took some shrapnel...big deal. Quote
