If I was you I'd trim it down to the joining strip & that will take care of the gap on the shins.

ok so kind if trim it down in a "V: shape? \___/? down to the cover strip. and on the thighs. a trimmed in curve?

I trimmed the back of my thighs too, made a big difference for this short troopers mobility I may even consider trimming a little more, see how it goes on my first troop.

I can see how the trimming will help, I think im going to go ahead and make some cuts. nothing I cant fix with a little imagination. I have managed to refit the thighs so they come up more that gave a lot of clearance but i want to make the backs just a little more uniform in thickness.
