Seeker[TK] Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 I've look and look, but found older templates. Can someone direct me to the newest version? Thanks in advance. Seeker Quote
Seeker[TK] Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Posted January 11, 2013 I believe at one point Troopermaster was going to post one. Not sure if he did or not. Quote
Seeker[TK] Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) I think he only had minor tweaks, not something huge. Probably a typo or placement of a number. I'll be making my holster this weekend, I just wanna make sure I dont miss anything. Thanks Tray! Edited January 11, 2013 by Seeker Quote

TK bondservnt[501st] Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 all you need to do to modify the design to make it even better strap 12" instead of 11" use chicago screws for the top strapping instead of rivets. for the handle strap use a cap rivet after fitting the blaster. Quote
Seeker[TK] Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Posted January 12, 2013 Nic! Thanks man. Thanks for extra tip. But I'm also thinking I might even go lower on the 4 inch straps that connect to the belt since I'm short as in height. So I probably go 3 or lower. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 keep them 4" and only with a 1" gap below the belt. your height has little to do with the placement. it's not a quickdraw anyway! Quote
Seeker[TK] Posted January 12, 2013 Author Report Posted January 12, 2013 That's right. Keep it long, but Chicago screw it low. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted January 12, 2013 Report Posted January 12, 2013 it won't matter when you're wearing your lid and feeling for it. just put it in the standard location. putting it lower only makes it look wrong, we're going for standarization, not customization. Quote
Tolo[TK] Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Hello, How thick should the leather be? Thanks Eric Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) leather should be thick leather intended for chaps/saddlebags or straps should have little to no texture and be matte finish not garment or belt thickness but between that Edited February 2, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed Quote

SlyFox740[TK] Posted February 2, 2016 Report Posted February 2, 2016 all you need to do to modify the design to make it even better strap 12" instead of 11" use chicago screws for the top strapping instead of rivets. for the handle strap use a cap rivet after fitting the blaster. I used this exact same template from Troopermaster to convert my AP Holster from ESB to ANH. I may end up needing to use a 12" handle strap as well though, I will know once my blaster is complete. My AP holster came with chicago screws for the top strapping and a cap rivet holding the handle strap on too. Quote
TK-4510[501st] Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 I need the pattern for the DH-17. I know, its very similar, but does anyone have one? Quote
