Q: How do you apply the thin elastic at the shoulder straps?

Same as ,i tie a knot on all my white elastic's that i use it's esay as as shown on my armour below

I glued mine, just so the little buggers would never move again.

I sewed mine to the elastic straps just to stop them moving around

I used E6000, but only to make a loop out of them. I simply put them on the shoulderparts of the backplate and behind the snapplates there, which hold them in place nicely. I suppose you could sew them as well into a loop.

I just sewed the elastic loop and put them over the straps. Holds there just fine.

Tie a small loop in a knot, slip over armour.

Sew then a dab of superglue on top of the bridge
