passport?

I tried following the instructions for using my fisd login to clonetroopers.net and it says the passport page to do this isn't available. Should I just create a different account on the clone site?

Perhaps it should either be fixed, or removed.

 

This would save some of us "old timers" a great deal of stress and potentially increase the numbers on all detachments involved in the now failed/non working system.

So I tried to create a new account there, naturally it said the one I used for fisd (a gmail) is already in use, so I tried using my main email and it said "this email address is not accepted by the community, please try another" lol what's up with that? It was a hotmail so I just made one with yet a third email which is a Yahoo and that worked.

It would. The sad part is that there is no way to identify which accounts are affected until they stop working. So it's extremely labour intensive to weed them out. But eventually it will be cleaned up.

Hmm odd.. when I signed up at the clone troopers forum, and a few others, it did indeed say my email was in use. I then simply logged on with my username and password, it worked from the start.. or am I imagining things now? lol.. I start to become insecure about it but I thought it did work for me back then.

I have no insight to how the clone detachment works. But we're no longer running on a shared server with them, so I don't think any new information would be synchronized with them either.
