TK-7980 Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 I've been searching for quite a while now for a specific one, it's not the Revell one with the bent knee/leg thing, but it's got (I THINK) 2 legs in meeting in the center on one side, with the other 2 spread apart. Or it comes custom poseable based on how you super glue it together. I'm not sure on the manufacturer for it, but I'd appreciate any help looking for it. Thanks you Quote
TieRacer[TK] Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Sounds like you're looking for the MPC/ERTL kit. I had one of these years ago and it sounds ALOT like your description. Quote
TK-7980 Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Posted December 28, 2012 Thanks a lot that was it! Quote
TK-7980 Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Posted December 28, 2012 Can you remember if it was average sized or super tiny like the micro machines? Quote
TieRacer[TK] Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 It was pretty big. Maybe stood a foot or so tall with pretty good detail. I build two, one standard and one with battle damage. I sold both awhile back and am now kicking myself in the rear for it! Quote
TK-7980 Posted December 28, 2012 Author Report Posted December 28, 2012 Perfect! Thanks again, friend Quote
DarkTrooper[TK] Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 Is this the kit that came with snowspeeders and a canon/turret? I had one of these back in the day. Quote
TK-7980 Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 Alrighty, so I've successfully ordered my AT-AT, now I'm on the look out for an MPC Star Destroyer. Hoping to not pay the 70-150 dollars that most of ebay is asking, but I understand its rare. Quote
TieRacer[TK] Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 THAT'S a cool model! If you get one I wanna see pics Congrats on the AT-AT score by the way! Quote
TK-7980 Posted January 5, 2013 Author Report Posted January 5, 2013 The AT-AT was a STEAL. I picked it up for US$25 including shipping! Not expecting that for the Star Destroyer but I can hope! I'll post some pics when it gets here. My FineMolds 1/72 Tie Fighter arrived in the mail today, was very excited to get it. Quote
TK-7980 Posted January 6, 2013 Author Report Posted January 6, 2013 Decided to do a scratch build Star Destroyer. Quote
