can anyone tell me which is the correct position of the shoulder cover before i glue mine to the chest plate.

i have seen a few in different places. here is 3 pictures that i came across in 3 different places.

7 strips up to the end.

6 strips up to the end.

5 strips up to the end.

Hi Keith , i normally go 5 strip's up to the end ;)

the big one in front and 5 little tabs (maybe 4 if you're building armor for a smallish person, so it doesn't come down too far in front)

cannon distance is large tab and 5 ribs up to the top.

 

change for short or thick chested builds.

I am just about to glue mine, I also asked the question and it seemed most went of the 1 large tab and 5 small. Doesn't sit quite right on ATA armor so I may need a little bit of heat

I go for 1x large and 5x small ribs (taller troopers can leave less small ribs). You should really trim the border completely away on the front end of the strap. This allows it to contour better to the shape of the chest when you clamp and glue it in place.
