troopermaster Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Looking better! But the rivet covers are too close to the end box for my liking. It's not a major boo-boo, but it would have looked better more to the end of the belt with a gap between the cover and end box on the belt. You might want to take your canvas belt to the barbers too Quote
iconoclasta_88[501st] Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Yes! The belt did not worked 100% the way we wanted. :S It wasmade, well, more out of instinct than actual technique. Specially after seeing yours, I can see this is not as accurate as I thought it would be. Maybe we will try a second attempt. Or just take it to the barber shop We are not going for the über accurate build here, so lets see what Sam wants. And yes... we will take the covers off and relocate them properly, as much as possible. Thx for the advice. Saludos. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Will look heaps better with the covers moved, keep up the good work, your are going great Quote
iconoclasta_88[501st] Posted December 11, 2012 Report Posted December 11, 2012 Thx for all your comments! So, we decided to follow your advice and corrected the positioning of the belt's squares. Also cut off all the threads hanging from the belt. It is not 100% accurate, but now it is starting to look much better. What do you think? We also have started working on the helmet's inside. Still slow progress, but almost there. Saludos. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted December 12, 2012 Report Posted December 12, 2012 The belt is so much better, good work. I used the same foam in my lid, very screen accurate Quote
