Two things to note here:

 

1. Contact every armoror and ask what their wait time for a trimmed suit is. They'll give you all sorts of information about cost and accessories it comes with. Don't speculate, make your decision after contacting them all.

 

2. Many armorers currently have wait lists through December. An un-trimmed kit he builds himself is likely to come sooner. Building is not a pain in the __, it's actually quite fun and addicting! It does take time and patience, but we can all do it

 

I like AM just fine, but I don't recommend it for your bf as he is of a smaller frame. AP, TM, RS, ATA should be right on - less trimming.

 

At worst, what if you just got him a helmet and blaster for Xmas, and then gift him the rest of the money so he can choose his own and not have to be rushed for xmas?

I was looking at Bluey's it's a bit expensive but I like the shooter with it,

I just didn't know how good his was.

to build your own blaster is generally in the $100-$150 range (upwards a long way if you use a real gun or scope)

My armor is about as good as it gets.

"Centurion" means that it went through the "elite" and into the "ultra-elite" as far as accuracy.

May be little off topic but i wish my lady did think little like you.....

When i talk about my armor, or just try to show here it, she starts to laugh and dont understand a bit off why i did buy it.

Only the questions about why i did pay that much for it etc...
