Aosen[TK] Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 When I put the detail in the end of the clip I had it upside down. My question is: Will the upside down OFF, Arrow, and nub conflict with the standard for Centurion? If it does, is it worth filling in the OFF and moving the nub? Thanks, Aosen Quote
SIMpixels Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 It was my understanding that it was supposed to be upside down with the arrow pointing towards the front of the blaster. I don't suppose it would affect Centurion status either way though. Quote
Aosen[TK] Posted October 28, 2012 Author Report Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) The pics I found of the detail were all close enough that I could not tell, so I assumed that it was so you could read it. Only after looking at someones Hyperfirm did I see it was upside down. I was like, Edited September 28, 2021 by Sly11 Edited to restore images Sly11 2021 Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted October 28, 2012 Report Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) I don't believe it will pass centurion... we don't let that kind of situation exist. you'd best fill it in and start over my friend. sorry to say? we all have to make sure that we measure twice and cut once. it's just a part of the accuracy that we expect, especially at centurion level. I would also fill in the bubble on the lower left, and angle the corners of the part correctly, if you're going to bother with the details it's best to get them right. Darth Hilarious Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 Currently the only Centurion requirement for an E-11 is that it not be a Hasbro And there is no requirement anywhere regarding the mag end detail IIRC this was discussed a few months back, but nothing came of it So this should not stop you going for Centurion But I'd totally want to put it the right way around anyway Quote
OsotheBear Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 Awesome!! great reference ! bit of putty and you are set Aaron, don't get discouraged Quote

But I don't see it as unreasonable to expect something to be put together correctly. Sent from my GT-I9300 Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 I totally agree It's kind of funny though- You can get Cent. without the detail there at all Awards aside, once you know it's backwards you wouldn't want to leave it that way (well I wouldn't anyhow) Otherwise OCD senses would start tingling Lying awake at night with everyone's display pictures orbiting your head saying "I think it goes the other way" "the arrow pointing to the front" "I don't think it will pass Centurion" Over and over Like in the Simpsons Quote
