tightlines Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 My armor is almost complete but I need to finish my back plate and chest plate. I have the shoulder straps all done and glued on but want to close it on the sides. If I don't strap it to the ab plate do I just close the sides with elastic to keep it together? I can't seem to find a tutorial on it other than strapping it to the ab plate. HELP!!!!!! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 Strap the chest with elastic to the ab plate, and strap the back with elastic to the kidney. Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted October 24, 2012 Report Posted October 24, 2012 I wouldn't suggest putting a strap between the chest and your back. It just doesn't look right. Ā Keep your chest down with two elastic straps from the chest to the ab... kinda like Carlos' in this post. Or this image from TM: Ā Ā Your sides should be held together with straps/snaps between your ab and kidney. Ā Aloha, Ā -Eric Quote

This pic shows you what you can do! Quote
tightlines Posted October 29, 2012 Author Report Posted October 29, 2012 Thanks a bunch. All set! Finally completed! Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 good to hear! If you check out screenshots, you'll note that the chest and back don't really close at the sides There's a sort of keyhole shape going on Quote
TrooperJesse[TK] Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 IS that elastic holding the armor or is it nylon? Whats the difference honestly.. Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 Nylon has no give, elastic = comfort and no wardrobe malfunction Quote
