stormtrooper_build Posted October 12, 2012 Report Share Posted October 12, 2012 hi guys. how may of you lot use a chin strap in your stormtrooper helmet? why i ask is my left arm is disabled and i can only bend it half way up. i can't even reach to fasten a top button on a shirt never mind a chin strap that is parsley hidden inside a helmet. what options do i have.? is a chin strap fastened with a popper are Velcro. in fact is there only room in the helmet for one hand any ways to fasten a strap? all opinions would be much appreciated. thanks in advance guys.......... I used some magnets for the back of my neck cover so it would be easy to connect without being able to see it. For my helmet I used a snap and I usually need someone else to connect it for me. TK bondservnt[501st] Posted October 13, 2012 Report Share Posted October 13, 2012 I keep the chin strap snapped together and just pop my lid on with my thumb holding the chin strap outside the front bottom face of the lid. then I slip the lid on and use my thumb to position the strap. sometimes I have to reach in, but not always. see the chin strap is elastic so it does not need to be unstrapped.
