Here is a thought. If you wrap a blaster or any firearm up in a blanket or some other such way it is a concealed weapon. Around here, that will get you in more trouble then just having it laying on the back seat.

 

I know laws vary from state to state, but here in WA a prop blaster is not considered a weapon unless you hit someone with it , concealed or otherwise.

Nevertheless, I'm carefull. I keep my blaster in the bin with my armor.

Yea, I've thought about the whole realistic guns issue as well. Having a transportation container for them is a good idea, one that I'll remember to do in the future. I wouldn't want anyone to feel threatened by a prop.
