DudeSidious Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 I cant seem to find the flat head screws that attach the detonator to the two aluminum strips. Can someone point me in the right direction where to get these? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Any flat head screws would work in my opinion. May want to get the counter sunk variant though. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 I use round top slotted head 6/32" bolt and nut steel troopermaster uses round head slotted like this. flat head slotted would work for helmet ears. Quote
DudeSidious Posted September 24, 2012 Author Report Posted September 24, 2012 my local hardware store only has the Philips head screws. I seen a picture somewhere (cant find it now) of a screen used detonator and they used the non counter sunk type. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Then I suggest using the non counter sunk type. I used counter sunk, but my clips from Jesse have counter sunk holes so it made sense to me. For holes that aren't counter sunk a non counter sunk screw should be a better fit (and I doubt the SW costume department would take the time to fix the clips like that on all 50 or so detonators). TK bondservnt[501st] Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 the tops on troopermaster's screws are round, slotted. not flat countersunk. Quote
DudeSidious Posted September 24, 2012 Author Report Posted September 24, 2012 sounds good,Is there somewhere online I can get these? Quote
