From what can be seen in the eBay pics, it would appear the ears are plain grey. So yeah, probably.

I would have to concur.

 

Given the far more accurate helmets created by fans these days, and at comparable prices, quite why MR is so popular amongst the costuming community eludes me.

I guess it would be for your average consumer/collector. People that are not aware that it is not accurate and just wants a piece to display.

eFX helmets make great display pieces. They dont look bad either.

Compared to what is available to the community they are inaccurate after all. So for the "normal" fan they are great as a display, but for our hobby here.... Na.... There are far better options and some on a similar price level. Just look at ATA and CAP-W.
