I have one of these that I bought a long time ago. It's just a plastic tube with a stepped down diameter with an aerator on top and some o-rings. The base is one piece on mine, but I don't see why you can't use two pieces of the correct diameter.

 

What is that - $10 of parts at most? I bet they can all be found with a single trip to Home Depot.

I used a thhe plastic part that holds toilet paper ($3.99) and some rubber o rings ($3.00) I just cut them down to the correct size then glue on a mic tip

I have heard of the toilet paper roll holder before.... pictures would be ideal....
