ive been away for a while with my new career and its great, i have not had the oppertunity to post for a while or wear my suit. I have been working away in the computer shop ,running it for my boss who has been a friend for years.

had a bit of a day today, a group of youths came into our shop and assaulted my boss, my boss is only a slightly built 5'7 guy and he wouldnt even hurt an ewok.

Me well im 6'3 16 stone and can take care of myself so i took it upon myself to remove all three of them from the shop and into the street, this was quite a fun workout with two of them trying to get the better of me which they failed to do, the police were then called as i held them both in headlocks!!

Boss gave me a little pressie later on of the blade runner blu ray that i wanted.

I have now set up a workstation at the shop so i can access the internet at my pleasure.

Nice work Mr.Furious... and I'm glad the Welsh police aren't like the pr!cks around here, otherwise *you* would be facing charges for assaulting the punks, not the other way around <_<

Sadly in the U.K. Criminal Rights is vitally important, and these poor 'disadvantaged youths' will get a slap on the wrist. Victim Support is usually a 10 minute visit from a Community Police Officer who gives you a couple of leaflets to read!

Next time these sh*theads decide to steal from a shop / assault the shopowner, they might go with Knives, and the outcome will not be so pleasant :(

Policing in the U.K. is 75% catching speeding motorists and generating revenue for the government.

O.K. I'm getting down off my soapbox now :P

Cheers,

John

Nice work Adrian. Fortunately you are NOT in the US... those kids probably would have had guns, and I would have preferred NOT to have read about that mess... It seems like that's been the current trend over here… sad as it is...I'm glad you came out ok and were able to help out a friend. It's unfortunate what today's youth is doing (albeit, it's not all the youth, just some - sorry for the general atatement about our kids today)

wow, and I thought Ohio was a nice place too...I think it is the lack of respect from the children today, some of them have parents that could care less about them, then they fall in with the wrong crowd because they are accepted by them and there you go another lost youth

it's sad, but it's everywhere. My city is pretty good, but we are not immune from it. Dayton (closest larger city) is actually rated one of the most violent in the county. It seems more often than not that there is mention of some shooting and/or vandalization occurring on the local news. It's pretty much just the norm now.

I just don't get it Bernard... why so much hate??? I'm not that old, but I remember fist fights in shools... now kids bring guns to school or threaten to bring guns to schools or worse??? I just don't get it.
