Guy says he vacformed it himself... Quote
Sonnenschein Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 It's nice, but I wouldn't support recasters. Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted August 29, 2012 Author Report Posted August 29, 2012 I wouldn't buy it anyway. Getting a pre-made helmet takes all the fun out of building it! Quote
YouCantBe Sidious[TK] Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 Those are some huge gaps between the ears and the helmet. You could park your bike in that! Quote
Griffin-X[TK] Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 Nice, but a recast no doubt. Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 it is hard to tell, since some of the details have been sharpened. The back traps and tears details are wrong for a Incinerator anyway. I always say build it yourself so you know what has been done to it....kinda like a shady body shop doing work on your car, you do not know what quality you are getting. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 It's from some guys in Arizona calling themselves ctmprops. Says they are 501st members. Also have recasted recast a TE2-linage suit and made some modifications to it. Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 And people say grammar is dead on the internet. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Yeah yeah. I'm mostly right though. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Sorry Mathias, every time I read "recasted", my stomach hurts a little Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) At least you and I can blame it on not being native speakers. I cringe every time native american or brits (and aussies!) get basic grammar wrong. Edited August 31, 2012 by Locitus Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted August 31, 2012 Author Report Posted August 31, 2012 I find it quite funny how often non-native English speakers do have better grammar and spelling. I guess we native Anglophones just take things for granted and get lazy. Anyhow, cheers for the ID on the lid, Mathias. That's what I was looking for. I find it's nice to know what's what, even (maybe especially) when it comes to illegitimate stuff. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 It's understandable. But what people don't realize it that what you write on the internet might be around for a long time, so they should take some time to get it right. Also, no problem. It was easy finding the info. Quote
matt black Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 At least you and I can blame it on not being native speakers. I cringe every time native american or brits (and aussies!) get basic grammar wrong. The words American and Brits should start with capital letters Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 That's true. I'm just lazy. While capitalization of the name of a nation makes sense (it's a name after all), capitalization of nationality IE Brittish is a bit silly to me, although I accept it as an grammatical rule. Quote
matt black Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Dude, British only has one 't'. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 I always make that mistake Quote
matt black Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 Well I can't spell a single word of Swedish. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted September 6, 2012 Report Posted September 6, 2012 (edited) don't you rememeber the Swedish chef from "The Muppet Show"? Smörebröd, smörebröd, röm pöm pöm pöm! Edited September 6, 2012 by Sonnenschein Quote
