Locitus[Admin] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I would suggest using a different hosting service. I'm liking what I'm seeing, but that image size just isn't cutting it. Quote
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Author Report Posted August 13, 2012 I see I uploaded only web version, uploading the big ones now. For the main ones, anyway. You don't need super hi res to see all the close-ups, do you? If so I'll upload those too Crud, those aren't much bigger. Working on it!!! THIS WILL HAPPEN!!! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I don't care which version you upload, but they need to be at least about 3x larger than they are now. Quote
Sonnenschein Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I didn't know AP made flexible hand plates Quote
Sonnenschein Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Better! Looking good, Ingrid! Quote
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Author Report Posted August 13, 2012 LOL I'm glad you caught that! Quote
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Author Report Posted August 13, 2012 Okay that looks like it's working. Better? Quote
Beren[501st] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Great job, especially with the back of those AP thighs. I like the green backdrop and your action shots! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Much better. But you should cut the cover strip a bit above where the two halves of the thigh meet at the bottom. Like I did back in the day. This also applies to the back of the thighs. Quote
matt black Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Great submission pics Ingrid. Good luck! Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Lookin great Ingrid, best of luck Quote
Sonnenschein Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 This would be an awesome profile pic! (no pun) Quote

Brent Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Nice job Ingrid! One question; what's that black strip showing from under the plastic on the right side of your belt? Quote
Dr.Senf Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) cooles wortspiel ( german phrase about my nick) Ok first i really like the aP Armor since i wear it aswell and its real pain to build. You did a fab job. And now here it comes, my usual BUT Drums please..... 1st question are the tubestripes Handpainted? 2nd question, leaning backwards? and i dont explain that again lol!!! 3rd, the sniperplate sits too high on top of the calve, i know its tricky and i changed mine already since i couldnt fit it to my satisfaction. 4rth, cover strips already spottet 5th you might make your Bizeps a bit smaller aswell. 6th the backplate overlaps the kidneyplate, i fixed it with connecting chest and back with black elastics. Apart from that, really nice build!! Honestely ; ) "One question; what's that black strip showing from under the plastic on the right side of your belt? " good point! missed that little buggerdetail. LadyInWhite[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Author Report Posted August 13, 2012 > 1st question are the tubestripes Handpainted? Nope. But those tears & traps sure are, and I take great pride in my hand painting. Tears/traps shall be hand painted or use decals that emulate hand painted (with correct ANH TK details). > 2nd question, leaning backwards? and i dont explain that again lol!!! Haven't you figured out yet that I'm a bit "unbalanced" ? > 3rd, the sniperplate sits too high on top of the calve, i know its tricky and i changed mine already since i couldnt fit it to my satisfaction. Define "too high" It sits just right as far as I'm concerned! My stupid thigh might be too low in the pic. EDIT: Oh I see, only the one side is pictured. The other side you might say is "too low" It's because I refuse to have the AP sniper plate be crooked by 15 degrees!!! So I glued it on "straight." > 4rth, cover strips already spottet I guess I need to see a pic of what you guys mean. It hangs about 1-2mm lower than where the under-curve/return edge starts... but I can trim more... > 5th you might make your Bizeps a bit smaller aswell. I do not have girl biceps > 6th the backplate overlaps the kidneyplate, i fixed it with connecting chest and back with black elastics. Actually it doesn't. The pic is a bit off balance. The outer corners sometimes do overlap a tiny bit if I bend or twist, but the back is flush, and held there by elastics I can see in one of the pics it might look like it because the return edge of the back bottom is bigger than the return edge of the kidney top. > "One question; what's that black strip showing from under the plastic on the right side of your belt? " Och, stupid velcro came undone when I put the armor on... my hub doesn't know to check for that. I'm lucky to get decent pics at all! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I posted a picture about the cover strip. Quote
Dr.Senf Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 1st---ok 2nd lol good answear hahahahahaha! 3rd its just not in line. on your detailpic of it, you can see that its not flush and too high. 4rth, yep! do that 5th its not that bad maybe just a bit more to get a snug fit 6th ok if you say so i ll trust you. 7th, yeah the nasty velcro and not caring partners, it so hard to get useable pictures nowadays Quote
Brent Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 > 4rth, cover strips already spottet I guess I need to see a pic of what you guys mean. Here's a reference picture: The cover strips don't go all the way down to the return edge, but stop just at the raised border. Quote
LadyInWhite[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Author Report Posted August 13, 2012 How come I never knew that! Wow. That is going to put a damper on the horrors that are my seams... Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I filled my seams with abs paste because I too had bad ones. Quote
SCTrooper[TK] Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Nice pic's Ingrid... I remember the first time I saw your helmet, the details looked so good I thought it was all decals. Great job! Quote
