People have replaced the barrel retaining screws with real ones.

I have no idea what size they are, but that doesn't matter, because...

There they are. $2 each.

Which holes haven't been drilled? A picture could be worth a thousand words.

Doopy Doos web site says: "ON THE MAIN BODY ALL THE VENT HOLES THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY A BARREL FIN ARE OPEN EXCEPT FRO THE ONES UNDER THE FORWARD STOCK TO GIVE YOU AS MUCH AREA TO GLUE TO BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE IN RELIEF DETAIL SO YOU CAN DRILL THEM OUT IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO"

I have read a couple of posts with the holes in the folding stock are drilled with a flat tipped drill bit but only shallow drilled to give the illusion of there being holes but still having the strength for the glueing.

If you are talking about the nuts at the end of the barrel and the bottom of the grip, yes. see my WIP here

I'm going to be super picky and point out that those bolts don't have the correct knurling pattern. :P
