bigironvault Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Should be an easy pass. But I'm not the final decision maker. Quote
Mongoose[TK] Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 You just solved my problem of losing the elastics for the shoulders. Never occured to me to glue them on. Nice set of armor. Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Posted August 7, 2012 Cheers Wes, glad I could help Quote
27555[501st] Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 If you get a pass, I should be good too, I was worried about the Helmet Decals being disqualifying, either way great set of armor, and you make it look good! Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Thanks Derek , as far as i know its fine to use decals as long as the detailing on them has the hand painted look Edited August 7, 2012 by RedSpecial Quote
Geaux Saints[TK] Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Very nice! Great pics as well. Answers a lot of questions I was having about my future build. Thanks. Quote
captsafe66[Admin] Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Yes, the hand painted look decals will pass. This is a great build!! Should be an easy pass. The possible problem I see is that your ID number on the shouder bell isn't cannon. Unless I'm mistaken, he will need a pic without the decal. Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Posted August 7, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the kind comments I wasnt sure about the decal myself, the UKG decal is accepted for trooping but Im not sure about FISD clearance. Edited August 7, 2012 by RedSpecial Quote
captsafe66[Admin] Posted August 7, 2012 Report Posted August 7, 2012 Again, wait till Mathias says yes or no to it. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 I will continue the review, but I can answer the UKG decal question. It is not permitted for Centurion clearance. It is however a very old and nice tradition in the UKG, and the only garrison with LFL approval to wear theirs at canon troops. Therefore, I suggest taking it off for the pictures and putting it back later. Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 8, 2012 Author Report Posted August 8, 2012 Ok thanks for clearing that up Mathias Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 9, 2012 Author Report Posted August 9, 2012 Here are some new pics, decal free . Quote
captsafe66[Admin] Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Much Better!! Just a matter of time now!! Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Great build so far, Stuart. But what about the mesh behind the teeth?!? There wasn't mesh behind the teeth in the helmets. Quote
matt black Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Great build so far, Stuart. But what about the mesh behind the teeth?!? There wasn't mesh behind the teeth in the helmets. It's more screen accurate to not have mesh as there was none in the screen used helmets. Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Mesh or no mesh is irrelevant to Centurion. While MEPD's SWAT system requires no mesh, we do not. No mesh is the accurate option, as the mesh is something invented long ago by the 501st as a way to prevent curious kids from spoiling the illusion. It is however such a small detail compared to some other things that still are allowed in the Centurion program, that fuzzing over that is in my opinion a waste of time until the other areas are addressed. I think I have seen enough now, and hereby approve you as Centurion. Good work trooper. Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted August 9, 2012 Report Posted August 9, 2012 Well done, Stuart....Congrats Quote
RedSpecial[TK] Posted August 9, 2012 Author Report Posted August 9, 2012 Thats awesome news Thanks very much everyone Quote
