DarkTrooper[TK]
I think the ammo belt on the right thigh needs to have more curve than just a rounded off corner. Other than that, looks good to me.
captsafe66[Admin]
Very nice build!! Will be an easy pass! You may want to trim the scews on the inside of your helmet, I scratched my face on one like that once...

Dr.Senf
From what i can see so far, from my mobile browser is that the tubestripes are wrong applied. They re leaning backwards but they should lean forward. And the ammo belt need some more trimming. matt black
No, Fernando's tube stripes are correct. They are supposed to lean backwards.
Dr.Senf
I think its lost in translation ; ) I mean it looks on the view from the left that the stripes are lower close to the ear than in the front. But the frontpic shows that the angle is actually right. So my fault. Dr.
DarthChridan[TK]
I agree with Senf. It should look like this---> http://www.starwarshelmets.com/2008/DaveMANH08.jpg http://www.starwarshelmets.com/2008/DaveMANH02.jpg Compare Fernando's helmet with the original helmet. Then you can see that the tubestripes are reversed.
matt black
Fernando's stripes are curved the same way as in the pic of the screen used helmet. The curves point towards the rear of the helmet.
DarthChridan[TK]
Well, everyone sees it differently....it must decide Mathias/Locitus. But if we already count peas, the number of stripes is also too little. But I know, because of the AP helmet it's not better possible. DarthChridan[TK]
Like I wrote..."everyone sees it differently....it must decide Mathias/Locitus".... Perhaps it is ok for the Centurion....

They varied very much from helmet to helmet in the movie. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1468&hl=how%20many%20tube%20stripes#entry17650

Locitus[Admin]
Fernando, how do you feel about trimming down your thighs a bit more? They are clearly too big for you. Alternatively I suppose you could gain some 25 Kg, but i think trimming is quicker and healthier.
Dr.Senf
Lol we re talking about different things here. Of course are the curves correct. Nobody would apply them the wrong way. My first thought was he put the one for the left side on the right side like i did on my ap in the beginning. Like this: http://1.1.1.2/bmi/i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-24.jpg They re switched and leaning backwards. And on the ap lid you cannot apply all stripes due to its small size. Dr.Senf
it should look like this to be accurate. ma AP lid http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-26.jpg[/img] http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-27.jpg[/img] http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-28.jpg[/img] http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-29.jpg[/img] http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc436/drsenf/image-30.jpg[/img] maybe now you know what i mean with leaning forward and backwards, he just switched left and right. does nobody else realize? are we just german nitpicker??? i think its a detail wich should not be overseen since the tubestripes are a key detail of the lid. otherwise its a nice build, slimmer thights, ammo belt fixed, stripes redone and its a nice Centurion. matt black
Sorry Sven but I still don't know what you mean. I'm pretty sure that the tube stripes are the same for the left and right side. Maybe I am missing something.
Locitus[Admin]
Sven, fo you mean the slanting of the stripes?
Dr.Senf
ok maybe that will help leaning backwards--- wrong leaning forward--accurate
matt black
Ah I understand now
Dr.Senf
agreed?
matt black
I'm not too sure. As the originals were hand painted they were a bit all over the place and not very uniform. We will just have to see what Mathias thinks
Locitus[Admin]
While it is a nice catch of you Sven, and something I would not mind seeing as a future requirement, it's nothing that I'll be taking into consideration this time.
