idejducman[TK] Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 Im sure this has been brought up in prior posts but I dont see it. I am building my TK and wanted to know the correct width of the overlays for the arms and leg pieces. Who can help? Thanks Mike Quote
Daveskie Posted August 1, 2012 Report Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Are you talking about the cover strips where the clam parts close? If you are then on the original suits it varied from one leg to the other or even from the top of one leg to the bottom. On the thighs and shins it should be between 21 - 23mm but a 25mm strip on the back of the shins where they are left open. For the biceps and forearms it should be between 13 - 15mm Edited August 1, 2012 by Daveskie Quote
idejducman[TK] Posted August 2, 2012 Author Report Posted August 2, 2012 Yes that is what I am asking. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. Quote
idejducman[TK] Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 Okay, Now what is the correct width. Not the length, but the width of the strip? 2mm? 2.5mm? Quote
Vader Rocks Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 The measurements above are the width, not the length Quote
troopermaster Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 I think he maens the thickness of the plastic - not the width - which is 1.5mm on the original suits. Quote
idejducman[TK] Posted August 3, 2012 Author Report Posted August 3, 2012 1.5mm. That small huh? Is that for the arms and the legs? I guess I mean thickness. We say width here in the states. So many inches wide by so many long. We are all screwed up here. Quote
