JoeR Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 I love ROTJ helmets as everyone knows! This thread is to share information and pictures. Mark and I are building up what we think are the ultimate replicas, with hard hat liners, accurate decals and Newey snaps etc. I have a ton of pictures and will post these. Guess the original TV prop for extra points! 911 Auction Helmet and other Mandel original Hot glue residue is accurate! Profiles Auction Helmet On set on ROTJ Quote

Locitus[Admin] Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Guys, while you're at it, would you mind if these were added to the recently opened reference gallery? We don't have much of a ROTJ section yet, so this would be a nice start. -> http://www.whitearmor.net/fisd/CRL:ReferenceGallery Quote
sskunky Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 I have a slightly different version of this!!! Quote

Locitus[Admin] Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Beautiful! I'll see if I have any not posted yet once I get home from work that I can add. I'm not much for saving pictures, but I have a few. Unless you all beat me to them by posting the same images. Quote

troopermaster Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 I haven't seen those photos from Matts' Yahoo account for years now. How time flies.... Quote
JoeR Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 We've been in this game over a decade now Paul. Madness.... What is that stuffed in the mic tips? J-cloth? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 The helmet moulds are obviously not original, but it's a cool picture. Quote
JoeR Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 Nice pictures. As TM Paul has discovered the assembled armour is ESB Mark II on the mannequin (John B's suit) so not strictly ROTJ, and the forearms are GINO replicas, from the TE moulds. Thanks for sharing. Maybe we should do an ESB Mark II thread as well to show the differences? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Absolutely. Makes it easier to sort them when adding them to the ref gallery. Quote
JoeR Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 Thanks Mathias I don't know the differences in the armour, hopefully Paul can explain! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted July 18, 2012 Report Posted July 18, 2012 Yeah I'm a bit of a loss myself at that. Quote
