handpaint incinerate?

It looks like most of the troopers have chosen to spray paint the red markings on the helmet and armor. The game images to me conjure a more hand-painted as well as weathered look. Would it be acceptable to handpaint the red parts?

That would be a crapton of hand painting! If that's what you want to do though, the more power to you. As long as it still is the correct color scheme per the CRL.

Or you can go the middle ground and use an airbrush to get the best of both worlds.

Nothing is in the CRL saying you cannot hand-paint the parts, but make sure your work does look good (if you do that route) because if it does not , then it could be denied for approval, and you have to re-do it.

 

If you asking me, the spray painting or air brushing is the best way to go for the red parts.....
