Research these armors by using the search feature.

Pick the one you like and contact a maker.

I chose AM and paid just a few dollars more than this kit on eBay you linked to.

Stay away from the eBay stuff cause you can get better armor here from known makers.

Thanks Gregg, figured for my size AM will be best for my first build, but saw this and was wondering.

I wouldn't trust that one Jim, like I said at the meeting, with your build, AM lite would be your best choice. That's my opinion anyway.

Thanks Mark, just sent a PM to a member that has an unbuilt AM kit for sale here on the forum. Just waiting to hear back from him. Hopefully i'm on my way to my armor build.

AM is great for bigger body's. You can take a look at my build and see how it fits my 230lb frame. You can also learn a lot from the mistakes I made in my build :)

Side note to bigger troopers is that Troopermaster kits will fit a larger body as well. I didnt know that when I got my kit. If you want the most accurate for a big body then look up TM. Its expensive because its from the UK but it looks a lot better than the AM. RT-Mod is great as well. That being said... I am happy with my AM kit and its great for a 1st build because its easy to assemble and your local garrison and everyone here will be with you every step of the way!

PS - Brian's build http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11333&hl=*am&st=0 is a great build thread as well. He's top notch

hi Jim, my two cent worth, Ebay is going to have recast kits and not have the costumer service that you will find in the Vetted vendors that was posted above.

If you ask me, I would look into the RT-Mod kit. (more accurate than the AM) RT-Mod comes pre-trimmed. plus I know of issues/problems with the AM kit that I wish they would fix. Why I say this is because, I have an AM kit, and worked my butt off to fix them while doing my build.

Contact Rob about his RT-Mod kit. I think you will be happy TK.
