My goal is to get some comfortable trooping gloves, that still looks like the screen used chemical gloves.

I would not put them on those gloves? why go the extra mile on latex, when you won't be accurate with

those? wearing a cotton liner inside the rubber works quite well.

you might think it's nice and comfortable... I just think you'd be more accurate if you wore the proper material

and wore a liner for the comfort factor.

if you're shooting for EIB or centurion, then you should go 'all the way;'

my 2 cents.

plus fabric gloves are not approvable?

Gloves

For 501st approval:

  • Black in color, made of either rubber, nomex, leather, or leather-like material, with no visible straps or logos/designs. The fingers are enclosed, non-textured.

For level two certification (if applicable): For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Gloves shall be rubber or rubber-like chemical gloves, in black.

CLOTH IS NOT MENTIONED at all in the CRL.

I can see your skin color though them.

only ESB allows silk gloves. it's SA for esb, but it's not in the CRLS.

From the top photo it looks like a kind of cooking glove which is part chemical glove (fingers) and part fabric (under the plate). But from the one below it it looks like fabric all over. I'm just curious.

That's why, Vern! Besides, Morton's already earned his centurion badge ;)

Yep. Already have the chemical gloves ;)

And yes the first gloves are looking quite thin, but thats because the flash is so close.

I have alway hated the Nomex gloves for TK's, because they are fabric(yes NOMEX gloves are made of fabric) and leather, and the passover between the two materials just look wrong.

And to prove my point ;)

The first gloves are a bit worn. Its work gloves that my dad gave me. They both are. The bottom gloves had some thick liner in them, that I pulled out, so they may look a bit big.

I will try and see if I cant find some new ones, but i doubt it, as all other gloves like theese I have found, have had the fabric in a different colour. Grey, Yellow...
