Rolf[501st] Posted June 29, 2012 Author Report Posted June 29, 2012 Hi troop´s my RS Sandtrooper are done, and i just wanna show a few pics of it, and the some weathering progress pics i took along the way The weathering tools. I only use Raw Umber for the job, different forum items for details and go deeper in the parts. For cloth i use a few different ones as well, mostly only a shirt and a t-shirt. The t-shirt can be nice, because it have smaller fibers, so it do not make to many marks in weathering, but smooth dust it out: I do the weathering in four stages: 1. Just get the Raw umber all over the armor. 2. The dab the weathering so it looks like a smooth dust/dirt layer. 3. The take some of the weathering off. Here i use the same cloth i used to get the weathering on, plus a wet piece of cloth, and a dry one as well and dab it around here and there where i want patterns and cleaner areas. 4. The i take some more weathering on, mostly whit my form sticks for getting details. Taken whit flash: One whit out flash, i just post both, as the weathering job can look different in the darkness: The helmet: A few replica details. The two white dots, whit dark weathering around them: Same armor as the move a long armor, this time used in back alley of dok 94. Here er see the left side of the armor, the road block scene just show us the right side. I have copy the white line on the arm, and all the holes have dark weathering, and a clean surface: More dirt in the middle holes vs the top and end: I aim to take some full suit up pics next week coming Like This Quote
