Turrican Posted May 29, 2012 Report Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) A friend of mine made( assemble and paint) me this very nice replica. Again, thank's a lot Daniel for your great work! The helmet itself is made from 1,5 mm ABS . Painted Khaki baselayer inside and outside. Than finished with a white paint chipped finish outside and red dusty finish inside. I only add the weathering/ageing by myself. What's missing now are some screen accurate vinly decals. Well, will see where to get some. If someone should know anyone who can make some, feel free to send me a PM! Some pic's: Edited May 29, 2012 by Turrican Quote
Turrican Posted May 29, 2012 Author Report Posted May 29, 2012 THX. If i should find decals, you'll see him in Billund Quote
Turrican Posted September 13, 2012 Author Report Posted September 13, 2012 Finished! Thank's a lot Fabien for your great help on the decals! The silk-screen look is nearly perfect mate! Quote

Verne Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 Great! Nice to see them on this awesome helmet. Quote

rhapsodyred99[TK] Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 ok i need set of decals for my RS PVC helmet for ESB. Hook me up! RS says they are working on them and hope to have them soon, but these look great! Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Well guys...here's the 2nd ESB lid of this build marathon incl. the awesome decals by Fabien...thanks a lot ---> Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Beautiful helmet Daniel! You might want to tell Fabien that his rear trap decals are slightly too small though. Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) Thanks Mathias.. agreed, right side it seems a bit small .... Edited September 22, 2012 by DarthChridan Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Both of them look a little small to me, but I've just taken a short glance at it. Either way, you have a fantastic helmet. Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 It looks the same....I think it's ok on the helmet. Quote
Verne Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 The decals are certainly a little bit smaller. Used a TE2 helmet to make measurements of the rear traps. Since I have a RSprop helmet, I see that the size isn't the same. Should do adjustement. Quote
Turrican Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) It's not realy that much difference, but hey if you make bigger ones, count me in for a spare set. Always good to have spareparts Cause the room in my flat runs out, i bought me a cabinet and add some LED on it. The LED are not as birght as it looks on the pic's( thank's good old handycam). The light can be switched from all what you want. From ghost green, to whorehouse pink Enjoy One place left for one more trooper helmet Edited September 23, 2012 by Turrican Quote
Darth Aloha[Admin] Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 I love how someone found an appropriate way to use the word "whorehouse" on FISD. Well played sir. Well played indeed. -Eric (Roxaaaaaaane!) Quote
Turrican Posted September 23, 2012 Author Report Posted September 23, 2012 Would "pink as pricess Lillifee" fit better? Quote
DarthChridan[TK] Posted September 23, 2012 Report Posted September 23, 2012 Would "pink as pricess Lillifee" fit better? Muahahahahahahaha Quote
