gazmosis[501st] Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 (edited) I'm sure I can research it and run around to several stores but I am lazy and want to get my teeth into this build!!! I know the proper pipe is 1.5 inch outside diameter. Regular plumbing PVC won't work because all plumbing measurements are inside diameter. Any hints??? Edited May 7, 2012 by gazmosis Quote
matt black Posted May 7, 2012 Report Posted May 7, 2012 Can you not use aluminium pipe. I think you can get that in 1.5" O/D ? Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted May 8, 2012 Author Report Posted May 8, 2012 Using doopy doos Kit. I need to work with plastic. Thanks for the info though, Rob Quote
matt black Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 Oh ok mate. Sorry mate. I'll have a look around. Quote
NastyNoah[TK] Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 I think TK Bondservnt 2392 has the correct pipe with holes predrilled. Quote
ZeroRoom[TK] Posted May 8, 2012 Report Posted May 8, 2012 Hey Steve, Ā If you want the accurate pipe you can't use the plumbers pipe (it only comes in the 40mm) you need plastic tube. I've posted here the full info, but you can get accurate 1.5" (38.1mm) OD plastic pipe with an accurate wall thickness of 1/16" from Amazon and some other places. Here's a C+V from my other thread: Ā Here is a link for the polycarbonate tube: http://www.usplastic...27235&catid=841 Ā And the butyrate tubes: http://www.usplastic...35305&catid=704 Ā Amazon: http://www.amazon.co...Z8Z7TY4SBVWS6FB Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted May 8, 2012 Author Report Posted May 8, 2012 (edited) Holy tubes!!!!! Thank you!!!! Ā Well...I just placed my order and although a price is given per foot, they only sell it by the 8 foot tube. Since I am only building one blaster and one blaster needs about 18 inches...I'm gonna have 4 more blasters worth of pipe. SOOOOOoooooooo..if anyone needs pipe for a blaster, I am willing to strike a deal!!!!!! PM me if interested! Edited May 8, 2012 by gazmosis Quote
Do7 Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 I just received the tube I ordered from amazon ( using the link above) and I got a 1 3/4" OD tube not 1 1/2". Quote
