Hedjii72
I have a Hyperfirm E-11, and I'd like to add a D Ring to it. I ordered a D Ring from Trooperbay, but the ring is a closed loop, and it looks like it would be difficult to attach to the Hyperfirm. Has anyone here done this mod, and can you share some insight on how to do it? I was thinking I'd just drill a hole straight through the rubber block on the back and thread both ends of th e D Ring through, but this one from Trooperbay is solid, and unmaleable. Any thoughts? DarkTrooper[TK]
I cut off about 1/4" off the straight side of the d-ring, drilled through the end cap of the hyperfirm and worked the ring through it.
SolderMaster
I used a 1/16" drill bit to drill through the end cap. Then I used 2 pliers and bent the D-ring so I could slide it into the hole I drilled. Then, bend back with the pair of pliers. DONE
vecspeed12
I used a 1/16" drill bit to drill through the end cap. tgibson43
I found a 1/16" drill bit a bit - heh, get it - too small. 7/64" worked perfectly for me. Not too big that it moves around but not too small that i was struggling to get it through.
