I am always impressed that there are some folks who can just look at armor and tell who the manufacturer is.

This guy has a grip of armor for sale, but it looks really bad. It is HIPS from what he says.

Anyone recognize this armor? It looks very UN legit.

I think it's TE2-derived. There are multiple flaws and cracks in the helmet for example. Anyone buying that would not be able to build a complete costume.

Thin HIPS parts TE lineage.

Only any good to anyone with a specific requirement for spare parts and realistically these parts would need some serious reinforcement work before you could really wear them.

it's not even a full suit of armor!

it's short on shins and inner forearms

it also has no belt

helmet ear only has one. huh?

no abdomen plate

no caps for belt

one knee plate is wrinkled so bad you can't use it.

and to top it all off... there is no helmet top!

and from the look of the child mat in the background the poor kid probably cracked the faceplate

on the helmet.

so you can't even make a suit of armor. this is just a pile of junk hips thin parts.

STAY AWAY!

Looks like he probably pulled these himself. He sells repo bubbles for carded stuff.. looks like low quality HIPS. Yikes!
