Nate Jangotat Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 So I have my TK on order, boots and comm equipment too. I was looking for some advice on where to get hold of the following: -undersuit -neckseal -E-11 I keep heading back towards ebay but am aware of the minefield that can be . Also, wandered into SDS which is a little expensive (although that E-11 does look pretty sweet) and I don't like the look of the neckseal If anyone could help point me to some decent suppliers that would be real helpful, Thanks Quote
anphrax[TK] Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 (edited) I live in the US but bought my undersuit from:---------- It has a double zipper so you can pee easily Doopydoos is based in the UK so it's a lot cheaper for you than for me: -------- And I had my own neckseal made so you're on your own for that Edited January 18, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link not working removed Quote

Nate Jangotat Posted April 3, 2012 Author Report Posted April 3, 2012 Thanks guys I am going ANH, does the neck seal need to be rubber or are the fabric ones just as good / more comfortable? Quote
anphrax[TK] Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 This is the only 501st requirement for ANH stunt: " Black with horizontal ribs, fitted to the wearer, and extending from the base of the neck to the top of the Adam's apple. " As long as it looks screen accurate you shouldn't have any issues! Quote
inglorious trooper Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 yeah, doopydoos for the e11,i bought a lot of my things from mike on "trooperbay".although hes in america his prices for shipping and service are good.he does neck seals,E6000 glue(essential),helmet decals, undersuits and loads of other stuff, check out his site! Arnie_DK[TK] Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 Go for doopydoo You can get deacivated Stirlings in the UK, so you could go that way as well. Quote
anphrax[TK] Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 I wouldn't try to troop with a stirling, though. They're too heavy for trooping! Quote
crafty Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 For the neck seal contact Rebelscum on the UKG website Quote
Nate Jangotat Posted April 3, 2012 Author Report Posted April 3, 2012 Great tips, thanks so much guys. I've just finished building an EE-3, so hopefully the E-11 from doopy doos should go well too! Would love to get hold of a deactivated stirling though... Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 a real sterling is only too heavy to troop with if you've got 9" forearms. anyone with mustard can carry a sterling on a troop, it's not the weight, it's the legal issues on all counts! even you have to make a special harness system to carry a 7 lbs metal tube in a holster.
